This fall get ready for Scribblenauts on the Nintendo DS, developed by 5th Cell creators of “Drawn to Life” and “Lock’s Quest” .
This title looks to be extremely innovative in a variety of ways which will definitely garner a large fan following if successfully pulled off on the handheld.
In Scribblenauts players will use their touch pad to enable Maxwell to reach the end of a level by writing down objects that will aid him in the puzzle. As seen in the trailer in one level Maxwell needs to get a star in a tree. By writing the word beaver, a beaver appears and cuts through the trunk allowing Maxwell to retrieve the fallen star. Another option would be to write the word football, Maxwell will then toss the football into tree causing the star to fall down.
One of the coolest features of Scribblenauts is the ability to share levels you have altered withnew objects with your friends. Users can also customize the objects they place in the game world so they react in different ways or only to certain other objects. The building features are a bit like Little Big Planet on PS3 from according to Kotaku, it will be interesting if this game has the variety it is aiming for.
